Train the Trainer \u2013 Aviation Instructor Training<\/h2>\n\n

\nThe AST Aviation Train the Trainer Programme<\/strong> is an intensive\nprofessional training course designed for aviation professionals who wish to\ndevelop the knowledge, instructional techniques and practical skills required\nto plan, prepare and effectively deliver professional training sessions<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nSubject knowledge alone does not make an effective trainer. A professional\ninstructor must be able to communicate knowledge clearly, adapt training\nmethods to different learners, manage a classroom effectively and evaluate\nwhether the intended learning objectives have been achieved.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nWith experience in aviation training since 1970<\/strong>,\nAST \u2013 Airline Services Training combines theoretical knowledge,\ninstructional techniques, practical exercises and actual classroom delivery\nto prepare participants for the real responsibilities of an aviation trainer.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Course Duration<\/h2>\n\n

\nThe programme is delivered in an intensive format of\n5 days \u00d7 8 hours per day<\/strong>, providing a total of\n40 hours of training<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nTraining combines theoretical instruction, workshops, practical exercises,\nlesson preparation and a final classroom training presentation.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

1. The Role of the Aviation Trainer<\/h3>\n

\nThe role and responsibilities of a professional aviation trainer,\ntrainer competencies, professional conduct and effective knowledge transfer.\n<\/p>\n\n

2. Principles of Adult Learning<\/h3>\n

\nPrinciples of adult learning, learning styles, factors affecting learning,\nlearner motivation and techniques for maintaining attention,\nengagement and active participation.\n<\/p>\n\n

3. Training Needs & Learning Objectives<\/h3>\n

\nIdentifying training needs and target groups, establishing clear learning\nobjectives and connecting those objectives with measurable training outcomes.\n<\/p>\n\n

4. Lesson Planning & Course Preparation<\/h3>\n

\nDeveloping and structuring lesson plans, selecting appropriate content,\norganising the training sequence, managing available time and preparing\nprofessional training material.\n<\/p>\n\n

5. Instructional Methods & Techniques<\/h3>\n

\nLectures, demonstrations, discussions, case studies, role-playing,\ngroup exercises and selecting the appropriate instructional method\naccording to the subject, learning objectives and learner profile.\n<\/p>\n\n

Practical Training \u2013 Prepare & Deliver a Lesson<\/h2>\n\n

\nA key element of the AST Train the Trainer programme is\npractical application<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nDuring the programme, the\nAST Cabin Crew Training Manager<\/strong>\nassigns each participant a specific training subject.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nThe participant is required to design and prepare a complete training\nsession and apply the instructional techniques developed throughout\nthe programme.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nThe process includes preparing a lesson plan<\/strong>,\nestablishing learning objectives<\/strong>,\ndeveloping appropriate training material and training aids,\nmanaging the available training time and preparing for\nthe final classroom presentation.\n<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

From Training Theory to a Real Classroom<\/h2>\n\n

\nThe final presentation is not simply a simulation performed\namong Train the Trainer participants.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nEach trainee instructor delivers the assigned lesson\nto an actual class of AST students<\/strong>,\nproviding genuine classroom delivery experience and the opportunity\nto apply the skills developed during the programme in a real\nlearning environment.\n<\/p>\n\n
